LOVE YOUR HOME SHOW

New generation of lifestyle show makes debut at Sandown Park

How often have you visited a friend's house only to see that they've got same cushions, the same dining suite and even the same light fittings? How do you inject a little bit of individuality into your home? The answer is simple; visit the very first ‘Love Your Home Show 2008' which is being held at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey on 19 and 20 April.

So what makes this show different? Organiser and show Director, Colin Tunnicliffe of Red Events Limited says, "The show will be a celebration of over 100 design led companies, showcasing home and lifestyle ideas and accessories not easily found on today's high street. We've attracted designer makers, artisans, local and regional manufacturers to display their unique and in some cases innovative products. Their goods, services & designs include everything from the 'must have' and the ‘nice to have' products, all deliberately created to enhance and individualise a home."

Boutique Homeware suppliers, bespoke furniture Manufacturers, interior designers, hand-made fudge producers, custom art producers, independent wine producers are but a few of the types of companies who are already planning on being at Sandown in April.

Lime Jellyfish a custom cushion and bean bag designer maker based in Fleet, Hampshire were one of the first to sign up for the show and did so because, "We've never attended a big show before, but this seems to get to the heart of what we're about. We are a newly formed, small company and so can't afford the huge fees demanded by the large exhibition venues. This show is reasonable and it's held over a weekend so we don't interrupt our normal business. The fact that it has been launched deliberately to promote off the high street companies really appealed to us, there just aren’t any other shows out there specifically for us."

Mr. Tunnicliffe continued, "The enthusiasm for the show is very high and I have no doubt that we're providing the right venue, at the right price, allowing exhibitors a great opportunity to showcase their creativity and give visitors something that they'll love."

Mr. Tunnicliffe explained the show has six zones, including a home accessories area, a lifestyle zone, garden and eco-living zone as well as a food, drink and home entertainment zones. A new feature just recently launched due to exhibitor request is the Best of British feature, showcasing products entirely designed and manufactured in the UK, Mr. Tunnicliffe commented "A true celebration of British design."
